For starters it might be useful to get a similar deal as EnVyUs have, i.e., player apartments + office (team house can be too draining). They are a good and entertaining team.Īs to why they often come up short, is hard for me to pin-point exactly, as I am not an expert on Overwatch. To me, the reason why I like NRG, is not just "The Seagull Show", but it's because they often pull out very interesting strategies (at least when they work). This is difficult to do against top teams. No, NRG is a team which has the potential to be a number one team, but that means a lot of work from all players, doing everything right, and constantly improving. The way I see it, is that NRG has never been one of the "Absolute top-dog number one" teams which everybody expects to slaughter any and all opposition, and when they don't, people are shocked. You are "done" supporting NRG? What a strange thing to say. This is the cleaner solution in their eyes and I think they know themselves best. So reasonably thinking seagul's tracer will be subpar compared to enigma's unless he takes another month/s to relearn and practice tracer with the team. However enigma is a great tracer(proved this again today) and seagul is a good zarya already. There are several other examples that could be made with the other balance/meta changes.Īt the end of the day I think the thought process is something like seagul has not played tracer in 6months or so since zen tracer sym meta and would have to learn from the ground up again. Thinking of all the amazing mercy players who have taken a back seat to play the new support metas these last months. Some heros and metas have been so much stronger than current meta for many players. As such I think they would rather swap roles than forecefit players into the meta. Rather than have a dps player who will learn all of the new meta heros as they come out they are more playing to the individual player's current strengths. Deathmaker is the only player from Velocity Gaming who is on the leaderboard.I think NRG is trying to play hero selection differently. Rawfiul and Antidote are both on the list of top five fraggers in the tournament. With players like Akram "Rawfiul" Virani, Sabyasachi "Antidote" Bose and Shakir "hikkA" Razak, they too have a high chance of winning the Skyesports Valorant Championship 3.0 South-Asia Playoffs. However, Enigma Gaming can surprise VLT with the firepower they have in their squad. With players like Debanjan "DEATHMAKER" Das and Agneya "Marzil" Koushik upfront while also boasting some highly experienced players like Anuj "Amaterasu" Sharma and Tejas "rite2ace" Sawant in the squad, Velocity Gaming has the upperhand ahead of the match against Enigma Gaming. Velocity Gaming is surely the favorite to win the Skyesports Valorant Championship 3.0 South-Asia Playoffs against Enigma Gaming. Meanwhile, Enigma Gaming is gradually picking up momentum after the recent roster shuffle. Velocity Gaming is currently one of the most consistent teams in the South Asian region.
